Advance gallery admission tickets are through a time process. This is a gallery-only ticket.

  • Groups with more than ten (10) people are encouraged to book a group tour through our Visitor Services team (visit@mainehistory.org) and special pricing is available. Large groups without an advance booking may be required to split into smaller groups and are subject to availability.
  • Gallery-only tickets do not include the Wadsworth-Longfellow House. During the summer season, House & Gallery combo tickets are available as a separate offering.
  • While MHS members and children age five (5) and under are free, everyone must reserve a ticket. The ticketing process helps manage the number of people in the gallery.

If you purchased an MHS Member or Reciprocal ticket, please bring your participating credentials, membership card, or military ID as appropriate to ensure access under any membership or reciprocal admission program.

MHS is a Museums for All participant and honors NARM, ROAM, and Blue Star reciprocal membership discounts. Please book using the Adult Reciprocal and Child Reciprocal ticket options, and please bring your participating credentials, membership card, or military ID to ensure access under any reciprocal admission program.
